Join us at Henricus Historical Park or Dutch Gap for the Annual James River Parade of Lights. Bring your family to Henricus Historical Park to enjoy entertainment that will culminate in a festive, lighted boat parade. A full lineup of entertainment will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Bluff. Viewing of the boat parade will begin approximately at 7:15 p.m. Refreshments will be made available by vendors. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight.
Please make note of the directions to Dutch Gap Boat Landing and Henricus Bluff:
From Interstate 95 (north or south)
Take Exit 61-A (Route 10 East) toward Hopewell. Make a left at the first stoplight onto Old Stage Road (Route 732 North) and follow for two miles. At the first stop sign make a right onto Coxendale Road (Route 615 East) and follow for 1 ½ miles. Take a right on Henricus Park Road. Follow signs to parking area. (Police officers will be directing traffic)
From Interstate 295 (east or west)
Take exit 15 (Route 10 West) toward Chester and follow for 3 ½ miles. Take a right onto Old Stage Road (Route 732 North) and follow for 2 miles. At the first stop sign make a right onto Coxendale Road (Route 615 East) and follow for 1 ½ miles. Take a right onto Henricus Park Road. Follow signs to parking area.

For Henrico
Join us at Osborne Boat Landing for the Annual James River Parade of Lights. Come early to enjoy entertainment before the parade. The entertainment will begin at 5:30 p.m. This unforgettable evening culminates with the passing of the lighted boat parade approximately at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be made available by vendors.
Please make note of the directions to Osborne Boat Landing:
From Interstate 64 (east or west)
Take Exit 195 ( Laburnam Avenue). Turn right onto Laburnam Avenue and then left onto Osborne Turnpike (approximately 7 miles). Osborne Boat Landing is approximately three miles on right of Osborne Turnpike.
From Interstate 295 (north or south)
Take Exit 22B (Varina/Route 5). Travel seven-tenths of a mile and turn left onto Strath Road. Follow Strath Road to a stop sign and turn right onto Kingsland Road, which turns into Osborne Turnpike. Travel approximately 2 ½ miles (slowly – 90-degree turn to right) and turn left onto Osborne Boat Landing.

For Richmond
Join the countdown for the illumination of the Annual James River Parade of Lights at Libby Hill Park. Come early to enjoy entertainment while waiting for the grand illumination of the boats participating in the parade. Entertainment begins at 4:30 p.m. The dazzling illumination will occur and the parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be available…Bring the kids and neighbors. Viewing only will be available at the Dock Street site at 6:00 p.m. Parking is limited. Please come early.
Please make note the directions to Libby Hill Park and Dock Street:
From Interstate 95 (north or south)
Take Exit 74C toward to Broad Street Exit. Continue to the light on Broad Street, take left onto Broad Street. Proceed to North 29 th Street and turn right on North 29 th Street to Libby Hill Park.
To Dock Street (For viewing only at 6:00 p.m. - closer to the water)
Travel to Broad Street. Turn left on Broad Street. Travel to North 21 st Street. Turn right on North 21 st Street to Dock Street. Parking will be on the sides of the road.
